dont worry im part mexican, part black and part white. which makes me look asian, so when i walk around with my camera backpack on i got funny looks on trains and buses and follwed by police lol good n a busy train i always get a seat :

Thanks for this link to the Rights Guide - seems useful and interesting.
Would like to see an updated version, as it's now four years old.

As far as I am aware the only piece of legislation is that is missing in the guide is the Children's Act which makes it an offence to take a photo of a child under a protection order that enables the child and the location to be identified. Even then the offence is made by the person allowing the photograph to be taken rather than the photographer or the publisher of the image. Therefore this only really applies to schools, youth clubs etc and the average people tog shooting in public places doesn't need to be worried by this
legislation.

at weekends when i go out with camera i take my own secret weapon to photograph most places. i'm heavy built ok fat b****r probably look more like classic stereo typical pead & i dress badly when out with camera, pair of jogging bottoms & t-shirt. Most times i'm polite and answer questions & odd occassion ask permission when on my own.

Secret weapon ........ my 11 year old daughter with camera, big blue eyes & smile not been stopped yet lol
