Hello to you all.

I work for a dandy highwayman, deep within the royal county.

What with my career being mostly on the hoof, I only take pictures for fun and don't really possess any serious equipment, all the technical stuff will just confuse me.

Did have one photo published by one of the Times supplements, on my first attempt on putting something forward which pleased me somewhat, though it's looking at other peoples' images which I find I have a greater interest in. I will contribute from time to time, but mostly like observe and learn.

I'm also always on the lookout for help and advice.

Will begin my great adventure after I've observed the forum AUP - we horses are infinitely sensible creatures but we need social boundaries.

If youre a Horse- then Im guessing you shoot fully auto then, with having no fingers?

Nearly.

I own an eight year-old 7mp F.uji, but get by mainly using the camera and on my smartphone - something which brings me immense joy.

Maybe if my level of interest grows I will move onto more sophisticated equipment, but for now I am perfectly and mindlessly happy ;)

Always hated the idea of being one of those post-retirement corporate bods, sporting a phenomenally expensive camera with a £9,000 lens attachment - tottering around parks taking shots of ducks.

I live in Reading. Not quite the crown estates of your end of the field as you know, but I'm told my bloodstock came from that way. Rumour has it my grandfather once kicked King George :suspect:

Are you all starting to realise the infinite number of horse puns there are in the universe?
 
Yeah he's a shoe in to fit in here ;)

i'm now officially out of horse related punnage - i must be a little under the weather - i just hope i don't wind up feeling a little horse
