Just had an email to say I'm in the last 10 for the Canon Tour of Britain photo competition! I've got free tickets to the Cycle Show in London at the weekend and a Canon goodie bag. The winner is going to be announced at the show on sunday. There were over 300 entries, so I'm happy I braved the awful weather for photos that day after all!

It's a brilliant shot - depicting the darkest suffering that road cycling is known for. Which CSC rider is it? One of the Shlecks perhaps?

Great pic - wish id taken my camera along this year to the start at Glasgow. I couldnt believe how close i was to Wiggins, Millar, Hamilton etc. It was so early in the morning i totally forgot my gear - what a newb!

congrats, was this the shot you posted at the time, I remember thinking it was superb then and I haven't changed my mind.

Heard today that I didn't win, but my photo was very close apparently. The winner was the only girl in the 10 finalists, so well done to her.

Her pic can be seen from the photo below from the Cycle Show. It's the one with Mennock Pass in the background and four riders in the shot
