As of 5:45am this morning, after 24 hours of absolute mindblowing crazyness, I'm the father of a 8lb 12 1/2oz little monster. No name as yet, but mummy is doing well!!

Nothing much else to say - drinking beer before 12 noon, and showing off really!! :D
 
congratulations!!! my wife gave birth last week, its fantastic... 9 more me thinks!

Congratulations to you both as well - Its an experience that you can only ever experience yourself... I found it amazing when my little un was born 21 yrs ago...

I did forgive my OH (then) when she hurled abuse at me.. but was told that was natural for women to whilst giving birth ..... :thumbs:
 
hey great news.....Get some sleep while you can. It'll be te last you get for a few years.

Tell us more about the monster....how many heads? Tail? Horns? LOL!

I'm often reminded of my first words when #1 was born 8 years ago (a daughter)....."Great, I've got to pay for a wedding now!"

congrats, not another feeling like it in the world.

7 weeks ago, I never thought I'd be one of the annoying Dad's how show's everyone a picture of their child. I'm proud to say I am definitely one of them people now lol.

enjoy every moment of it.

Typical women.....it didn't look that difficult from where I was (stands back, lights touchpaper...) ;) :D

She did brilliantly, and I doth my cap to all the mothers in the world! :notworthy: She's definitely going to live like a Queen for my 2 weeks of paternity!!

That said, it still hasn't answered the age old question for me....what hurts more - childbirth, or a kick in the nuts??? :lol:

Congratulations and welcome to the world Samuel. I had a big bouncing baby boy 37 years ago and now he has a son called Samuel, one of my darling grandchildren. Children are hard work but the joy they bring more than makes up for it. Enjoy your little son and take good care of his mummy too.
