£6.25 for a half pint in Sydney

Try Norway prices for beer, they'll curl your hair.

Try a Coke on the Champs Elysee

Tbh I was kind of expecting it when I noticed an SB900 priced at the equivalent of £566 in a local camera shop

I bet the 'roo steaks are a bargain...

You should have gone in the happy hour, you might have had a pint then for the same price.:lol::lol:

10 Aus for that? Damn! Was nearly 3 Aus to the pound when I was there ten years back!

peroni is a lovely pint though
looks like a chilled glass as well

I nearly puked when I saw how much a beer was in Paris, totally ridiculous.

i've lived in Courchevel for a few seasons, there 15euro beers are commonplace, and i have been treated to a few 30euro gin and tonics in the past.
britain always seems a lot cheaper than france for food/drink/restaurants. supermarkets are way pricier over here it seems
