Just to let you know, 7dayshop is now once again stocking the full range of Ilford products.

Single rolls seem very expensive, but multi-buy brings it down to more reasonable prices - doesn't seem any cheaper than other film suppliers, but free shipping probably swings the balance slightly in favour of 7ds.

No affiliation!

As long as Jessops is running its 3 for 2 the price of film every where feels a little high. Though i've not bought any in ages so it might be over...

Ooh, 3 for 2? Not bad.

Edit: And oh my god 7dayshop has finally updated the look of its website!

To be honest even with the 3-for-2 the price per roll still comes out quite high - although I never buy/shoot Ilford, so that comment only reflects my purchase of Fuji/Kodak products. Kodak products in particular tend to be quite price competitive online...

It's been like this for at least a couple of months now, although I prefer the older website - the new one looks nicer but it feels so bloated.

It worked out about £12 the last three rolls of Ilford i bought but you're not getting into that territory until you've spent nearly £40 which, whilst i'll likely use it all, is a not insubstantial investment at the moment.

I think I like the new look 7DS website but none of their fillum seems hugely good value at the moment which is why I've invested in the kit to load my own from bulk buy. In fact I ought to get on and load some right now.

The old one used to give me the shivers putting my credit card details in! It just looked unsafe :P

Mathers prices do seem excellent across the board, provided you buy enough to soak up the £3.95 postage!

Same here, Chris. Mathers prices are excellent

7day shop doesn't offer great value for me. 10 HP5+ rolls for £43 isn't terrible though... they're selling 10 rolls of tri-x for slightly less. I personally can't tell a difference between the two films so would more than likley opt for the kodak option.

tri-x was at 5 rolls for £18 not so long ago on 7dayshop, wish I'd bought more at that price now!

My past few film orders have been with Mathers, even though Bolton's just down the road from Chorley. It'd cost me more in petrol and parking than the £3.95 P & P. All things being (more or less) equal, I'd rather support a specialist local shop than 7 Day Shop. My dad lives in Bolton and on my recommendation he got his most recent camera from Mathers earlier in the year.
