Just had this come through from Firstcall

Harman Technology Ltd, makers of Ilford, has been sold to The Pemberstone Group Ltd, a UK based investment company. More news soon.

I can't see it a asset stripping as I don't think the factory will be of much value other than for making film and paper, so I'd take this as a genuinely good sign in supporting the company and taking it forward. (y)

I guess the original managers who bought it must be nearing retirement anyway, so it is a way of redeeming their capital. Mind you prices of land in Mobberley are not the cheapest in the UK so its always got that to fall back on.

Wonder if they'll "support" us and keep prices the same or if they'll sneakily put them up soon?

I don't think they own the land or the factory buildings.
