I'm 34 and "18 only" would get my attention.

"ignore this" also got my attention.

It's only when the missus says "now listen carefully" that tend to switch off and ignore everything.

Must be a bloke thing as I'm exactly the same.
 
I know, I'm the same really...just didn't want the mods/others getting cheezed off! Next time, when I say 'ignore this' they'll be a shock inside....:D
 
Back in the day, when I were a lad, In the days of Newsgroups, this would have been classed as a "Test Post" which spawned the Test Post club.

The thread starters of which had to buy everyone who replied a Beer.
