If you were given the opportunity to photograph one thing what would it be and why?



For me it would be my daughter, she loves having her picture taken and I love taking it :)

That may seem boring to some but hey, I love my daughter :)

I like the sound of that, not for me though as I get a nose bleed just thinking about standing on a chair to change a light bulb
 
Maybe not as grand as others suggestions above but i would love to shoot the Rocky Mountains.
For the last 18 years i have always dreamt of seeing them whilst doing the Rocky Mountaineer train journey.

Because it looks a great place and I know I'll probably never get there:(

My point was, that from ISS theres nothing for earth to rise from behind. Moon rise, sunrise etc rise from behind the earths horizon. Presumably all you'll see (fantastic enough in itself) would be the shadow terminator seeming to move rapidly across the planet surface as ISS races round the planet at 17,000 mph. I imagine the bit where it goes from full shadow to sunlit area appearing must be pretty neat.

I so want to say something, But I will regret it, yet it would make me giggle for such a long time in my future. But I must not give in to my temptation. Maby someone else can say....
 
I'd like to shoot the northern lights one day, I'd like to go on that well known cruise to see and shoot them. It'd also like to take a really good shot of the moon but I've never had a lens long enough. Other than those two little ambitions I'd like to take a selfie doing something wonderful like being presented with a large cheque, or punching Russell Brand.

I would love to go and see the northern lights myself, what cruise is it your on about?
