Have you left it too long to make an "item not received" claim through eBay? Might be worth sending your correspondence with a claim given that eBay are quite buyer-centric these days.

You should be able to get your money back through Ebay,s complaints system.

Yes to long, had, delivery and then went away for a long time.

you have i think 60 or 90 days to submit a claim.. how long agao did you make the purchase

Just past the 90 days and no recourse.

You should be able to get your money back through Ebay,s complaints system.

No sorry far to late on my behalf.

The above is why I said it was my fault, but,a reputable dealer would at least help, in my opinion.

Maybe the seller is also sick and tired of scamming buyers trying it on.
I'm not saying you are trying it on, but 90 days is more than sufficient to check a delivery.

Typical British reaction though, can't be bothered the check your delivery for three months and then blame the seller and bash him online.

Ask the seller for proof of posting and tell them you are reporting it to the Police as stolen as the parcel hasn't arrived. If you know what carrier they used then contact the carrier and explain why you've been a chump and left it for so long.

There are also lost item auctions regularly so keep an eye on those in case your stuff turns up in one of those.

Do you think it reasonable for a courier to investigate a delivery that occurred 3 months ago?
Do you think the police give a toss?

I read the opening post. What am I looking for?

You've come on here to tell all and sundry what a bad seller this must be because he can't help you with a delivery that happened three months ago.

I'd like to see any business that would entertain claims of non receipt after that amount of time.

thats what i love about this place. so many keyboard warriors that are eager to just jump on a thread and spout negative s***.

It's not negative s***
The only keyboard warrior here is the one bad mouthing a seller or business because they can not help you locate a parcel that was shipped over three months ago.

Most couriers, including Royal Mail only have a certain amount of time you can claim for lost, damaged goods.

Obviously, Paypal also believe that 3 months is more than enough time to report any issues.

Well I would have thought.......only if it doesn't cost the seller any money after this long time. e.g. an email on how you assemble something.

Were all the items sent in one package or seperately? Was it sent by recorded post? The seller has an overwhelmingly postive feedback rating, so if sent seperately then it's possible that whatever wasn't delivered has gone missing in the post rather than any wrong doing on his part. If sent in one package then yes it's his mistake. After 3 months though there's probably not much that can be done to track the missing item(s) if he's not interested in helping you.

I do agree that if you raised it with him in a friendly way then it's just good business practice to for him to reply to you similiarly, even if there's not much he can do to help. 'Phuq off" doesn't help if that was his response, and I would be narked about that too as well as the missing item(s), though it's hard to say any more without knowing the details.

Anyway - good luck with future purchases. Ebay is a risk, though usually it's to do with items not being as good a condition as described, as I'm sure we've all experienced.
