Hello all

I now use FF most of the time for browsing but when I occasionally use IE 7 for fleebay it tells me that add-ons are disabled.

When I go to Tools the "manage add-ons" option is not active.

How do I get these add-ons back?

Thanks for helping:thumbs:

Simple ... :suspect: ... you don't ... ... just use FF for everything ... :D

Much more stable than IE7 imhgo ... ;)

:p

:D Agree, after having used FF for about a month now I love it and I don't particularly want to use IE anymore...

Thing is I cannot get the ebay security toolbar going in FF and maybe I'm just overly cynical but when I see differences in fonts and general appearance I wonder if I am dealing with fleebay or some clever hacking scammer:suspect::suspect::suspect:

Your thoughts?

I use FF, and have done for a couple of years now, for everything except just one work related task that will only operate with IE7 ... ...

... I have never encountered any problems on flleebay ... :suspect: ... to my knowledge ... :D ... and don't know anything about the potential for a clever hacking scammer ... if that is not a pure contradiction in terms ...

:p

theres an IE plugin for FF, called IE Tab, which allows you to load IE pages in FF. Never need to use IE again.

HTH

Downloaded and installed ... :suspect: ... just got to discover how to use it now ...

Found out I had it already Ven!:bonk::bonk::bonk::bonk:

Let me know if you figure it out cause my head seems rather flat today:lol:

should be a tab on your toobar that you select and it toggles between FF and IE

Aye, so far so good, but right clicking on it gives options which are WAY above my understanding...or lack of it:bonk::bonk::bonk:

Will have a look see later, am not at home at the moment so can't help much as this machine runs IE.

If you click the button it should just reload the page, within FF, just within the FF browser. The icon will change from an IE icon to an FF Icon

I use FF all the time, and I use the IE Tab add-on for those occasions when a site won't work properly in FF. (Mostly corporate stuff where the in-house developers blithely assume that everyone is using corporate-standard IE... ha ha.)

Anyway the home page for the developers of IE Tab is here. Half way down the page there is a section that describes its behaviour. Does this answer your questions? If not, what specifically do you want to know?
