Hi all,
I thought I would throw this one up in the air to see what falls. I am thinking of branding a studio (mostly fashion shoots) with the name STUDIO11 but I have no idea when it comes to creating a cool fresh and modern logo.
I real am struggling to think I anything creative that really would fit.

So any creative ideas floating around out there are welcome to advise, recommend or simply post what ever could be a goo idea to chew on.

Hi Graham,

Why use a name that is already around, unless you show it differently, as below. Be different and use something of your own.

How about Studio One One (11) or One One Studio

or try another name that is not already in use. The style of producing the actual name can make it stand out from the crowd.

Hope this helps.

Hi Malcolm,
All very good points though the studio has already been running for a few months under this name so is a little established already. The name is based on part of the address, it's also not locate in the UK.

How about legs eleven?
i mean get a nice set of legs in heels after studio, quite suitable for fashion work? Maybe a bit obvious?
How about two studio lights for 11, could even drape a model over them in PS
Do I have a new found carreer in advertising?

Ok, I'm no sachi & sachi :bonk:

Two old bits of drift wood, gnarled and sea buggered, small amounts of green seaweed draped over the bases, poking up from a shell rich sand scape, in the shape of the number eleven. The scene is lit by sunset style lighting, there is a copy of a fashion mag in the foreground like flotsam, a piece of pristine fabric is laid across the sand in front of the driftwood, a lens is placed upon the fabric...

Atmosphere, timeless, set against brand new,set against photography, linked with great lighting.

Perhaps a dog turd with a union jack stuck in it for irony:)

Hey Steve,
Love it, specially the last bit lol despite it being a little too landscape based I think you have a promising carrier in writing ;-)

What about a picture involving a pixie or a sprite (playing on the Dutch for both "eleven" and "elf" being "elf")?

And assuming your studio is in Amsterdam...

Very clever. It maybe giving the image of a family or children's photography studio though instead of a high fashion studio?

How about the number eleven being made up from two people standing back to back. Think along the lines of the KAPPA logo, but standing. Also, whatever you choose, a silhouetted image will be a lot easier/cheaper to reproduce when it comes to signage advertising etc.
