Ideas for collecting photos

I'm going to be doing an A-Z journal of my home, ie the Midlands. so this week I would go and photograph some area, thing, or event starting with A- and so on throughout the year.

I am hoping that at the end of the year I will have a really interesting (hopefully) photographic journal of my home.

I won't necessarily do it in alphabetical order. For instance we have an arts festival in July, so I will do letter F in July rather than in 10 weeks time.

I think it will be nice to plan some outings with my family and discover bits of the city that we might not otherwise have thought to visit. And at the same time, improve my photography.

Just thought I would share this with you.

sounds a good idea mate, and defiantly inspirational to get out and take some pics,

maybe you should rethink the festival though.

cause what happens if you come across a beer festival or farmers festival?

maybe the art festival should be for "A" ?

You have given me an idea.

I reckon I will try to visit all the villages and towns in Leicestershire this year and photograph the interesting bits. I dont drive anymore but I have a bus pass
