Not sure if it's posted anywhere else, but I've just had the link below through for the Iconic Britain competition. Not sure exactly what the crack is, but they're giving away a Nikon SLR everyday!? :canon:

Andy, you don't. You have to use MS's Live Search to find an image that represents Iconic Britain, then you can submit that image. It looks like it doesn't have to be your image. From the T's&C's

"To submit an image, perform a Live Search to find an image which represents Britain. Drag the image into the competition toolbar and click "Next". Entrants must then give the image a name, select the appropriate category, give an explanation why the image represents Britain and click "Submit""
 
Exactly. They want you to use the search, find someone ELSES photo, and submit that. :thinking:

Ok, this is far too long winded.
Every image I've entered so far has already been used.

After spending 15 minutes thinking of a title that hasn't already been used, and a reason why this shot is iconic, the chances of winning anything are very slim.
Unless you have a few weeks spare and BAGS of patience!
 
And they only have 2 of the SLR's left to win, the rest have already been dished out, so don't wait too long...

The question is who has won them, with who's image?

There has been such an uproar that Nikon have pulled being the sponsor of this comp.
Do a search of your name and I would be supprised if none of your images appear. But the thing is they dont link back to your site or page. One of mine is upthere and it is from my flickr account, but it is an image marked as private.
