I could really do with a bit of help!
How do I find an ICC profile for a specific papaer/printer combo? I have a new Canon Pixma Pro-10 and there is no problem with Canon paper, but if I want to use other manufacturers papers, how do I find the ICC profile? I have loads of Epson glossy from when I had an Epson printer, but I can't find a profile anywhere on the net! I have googled both "ICC profiles for Epson paper" and "ICC profiles for Canon Pro-10" with no luck. What am I doing wrong? :shrug:
 
you won't get ICC profiles for using epson paper with a canon printer unless they were custom made.

ilford, innnova, harman etc will make a generic profile for their papers with various printers.

Sorry but not that mix, you can get them for other papers like PermaJet who supply custom profiles free,
Or if you do a lot then get a 'colormunki' calibration tool you then can do your screen as well.
 
Carole, if it's just a matter of correcting a cast or similar and you have loads of Epson paper to get through, I would do some experimentation - chop up some of the Epson paper (quartering it should still leave pics big enough to get a good idea as to colour fidelity) and do a load of test prints using you printer's custom paper size (A6 is 14.85cm x 10.5cm). Nudge the sliders up or down as necessary and keep going until you're happy. Don't forget to keep a note as to what adjustments you've made and write it on the back of the test prints.

I wouldn't even waste my time or ink doing this as POAH said get a custom profile made it doesn't cost much. There is a bit more to it than just moving sliders around!!!
