203 has really captured the moment, the old chap in the foreground isn't helping but not much you could do about it.

Its a little hard you see whats happening whats going on in 205. I think a shall depth of feild might have helped isolate your subject,

thanks for the comments. i feel that the guy in the foreground points the viewer in the right direction for 203.

i know what you mean about 205 but even with the lens at f2 or thereabouts i couldn't get the isolation i wanted so i am relying on the performers bodyshape and the crowd faces to make the picture...

Cool shots Ian, looked at the long way down shot and initially thought it was rows of sweets...loving your street shots...you have alot more confidence than me...B&W seems to work well with street shots.

thanks roo. if this 365 has done one thing for me it has inspired me to take candid street stuff. i really enjoy it, like some people enjoy wildlife or motorsport shots. i hope my grand-children will be able to look back on some of this stuff and marvel at the clothes and shops and what-have you...

i cannot believe that 2/3rds of the year has gone by already! overall i am pretty happy with august, i consider one or two of them to be amongst the best of the year so far. one or could were good ideas poorly executed but at least i can recognise that fact, i must be learning something...
