time for some guesses, maybe its for calling everyone north of bristol a northerer? maybe he has just bought Nikon? what else could we add to the list?
 
Sorry for the misleading post that I edited.
Deano bought the pentax kit from me, when he recieved ii he realised the needle in the k1000 wasn't working. He had it looked at and was told the battery may of leaked and sealed the battery screw so he couldn't change it.
I have returned his cheque and postage and apologised for not checking the K1000 properly.
The apology accepted bit was after I had publicly apologised for not checking the K1000 properly, we had chatted in pm so changed the wording in this post.

HaHa, I am a brummie by birth and spent most of my youth gypsying around the greater Manchester area :)

It's a shame really as the rest of the kit including the ME Super were just fine.
