I like the idea of the lightsphere, but the price is silly... I may pick one of these up!

ah dammit.........ordered the Nikon one by accident...........anyone want to buy it off me when it arrives ? (have email the sender to cancel it even thou i've paid, but just in case it does arrive)

Noob mistake not reading properly, reordered the Canon one now !
 
Gutted here, I too have forked out the full beans. Might invest in one of these as a backup though. I love my fong.

Just out of interest has anyone got delivery of this one yet?

I doubt Mr Fong could could patent his lightsphere because Tupperware will have it all sewn up already.

Oh, and my Solicitor pals tell me that although you can get a Worldwide patent for as little as £10,000 (!!!), your chances of successfully suing/stopping a foreign country for breach of patent are so remote it's not worth the paper it's written on - their advice... hit the market fast & hard and make your fortune before the Far East copies & sells it for a fraction of the cost - let's hope Mr Fong did just that
 
I bought one of these, really impressed with it, especially for the money. Have used it a few times now and it does a great job of lighting the scene and also filling in the shadows around the eyes for people shots.

I bought the cheapie HK one, never used the Fong one so cannot make a great comparison but I'm impressed with the HK one, I added a few of my early pictures here, just a few test shots :)
 
The cheapies are no longer on ebay! Anyone know where I can get another cheapie for a mate?!

I love my HK lightsphere!!!
