What an absolutely crazy day. Only saw the Amateur Photography Tour of Britain competition 2 days ago, and the deadline was yesterday.

Got a phone call to say I'd won! I'm touring with the Tour of Britain organisers for the duration of the race, starting on saturday in Scunthorpe and finishing the following saturday in London. It means I'll have a press pass for behind the scenes access. Canon are even sending me a 50D and a selection of lenses to borrow.

What a result! I never win anything. It's my birthday soon and this will top them all. Good things do happen to me after all :)
