Star trail shots and also just the glittering sky but I don't know where I can get clear skies nearby.

I'm based in Buckinghamshire can anyone recommend where I might be able to get clear shots of the sky at night with a decent foreground?

Or, a field in the middle of nowhere. Probably best to go with a friend rather then on your own!
