Ah, but the D600 is only really for snapshots. What you want sir is this D4 as the speed of operation will be much better suited to those fast moving landscapes.
 
If she really wants to take photos of landscapes, how about a camera with wireless tethering, and full remote control so you don't even have to get out of bed?

I've never found the London branch of Camera World to be anything other than 100% professional and accurate in the advice that they hand out.

They're a little tight on their Px prices, but other than that they're great.

I'd be amazed if they massively upsold a budget without some serious encouragement from the buyer.
