It's a lens cleaning tissue type thing. :)

Yes Climping seems nice. I've not spent much time there though. Do you think I should? Is it good for photography maybe?

Spent a very nice week in climping once...the place was called "the dairy". A weeny "chocolate box looking" thatched cottage. very nice too

And my cleaning thingy is a hama digi klear. Doesnt seem half as posh as yours though but then it was a gift!

so come on JustDave.....pick your letter :)

Sounds like a lovely place you stayed. Climping is the other side of the river from me (I think?!) and without a car, not the sort of place I can easily reach. I am able to borrow a car now and then though so maybe I'll take a look around soon.

I've never heard of a hama digi klear. Is it like a reusable cloth? A pecpad is just a tissue that you use once then throw away. They actually feel like normal thin tissue paper and it doesn't feel right wiping my lovely lenses with them! :) You get them in packs - I think I have a pack of 100.

Thanks for those links. I saw one of those lens cleaners once because they tried to sell me one in Jessops. I didn't understand what it did, and neither did they, do there was no sale! :)

For some reason I think of Climping as the bit down that road that is right next to the river. I don't know why - Probably because that's the only part I can see from 'my' side of the river. That shot does make it look nice, and it's looking in the opposite direction than I'd imagine. You must have been quite a way past the river looking back towards it?
 
Thats not my photo though ....just came up on a search? But that is how I remember the beach. Was about 6/7 years ago now.
