I set myself a challenge

Being as I am disabled and bedbound I suffer more than most with not only inspiration but also objects, animals or people I can actually photograph.

This led to me setting myself a most unusual challenge and one I think others might enjoy trying out.

The challenge : Using only objects found on my bedside table for subject, background and lighting.

All where lit with just the bedside lamp, nothing else, no flash or reflectors.


The results where as follows:

Monolithic Butt - Cigarette butt, toilet paper back ground draped over mirror.



Drink - just my water glass.

Fair play to you for getting results in such difficult circumstances.

I like the ingenuity you've used to have tissue paper as a sort of backdrop/reflector.

The 2nd photo of the cigarette caught my eye most. Perhaps some ash alongside the cigarette would have added some interest and contrast to the photo.

Hope your quality of life improves soon and you can get out and about. It does not sound like fun.
