And my CEO was really p'ed off. My boss was OK about it though.

I've got another job lined up in January, better money more responsibility in an environment I like.

So I'm on "gardening leave" until Jan 5th.... Lot's of time to take pictures I hope :lol:

Thanks everybody.

I had a call from my CEO today, he has asked me to pop in for a chat as he wants to know "what we did wrong".

Thing is they didn't really; I just had an offer to get back into the Telco/IP business running a sales team which is what I was doing a couple of years ago. I know it's what I'm good at, and I enjoy working in Central London. The extra money will be useful but that isn't the reason for going.

The company I'm moving to are in the black, expanding fairly rapidly too, they just have some under-performing sales teams that need sorting out.

I also had a call from an ex client today asking if I'd consider a few days consultancy work as well, which can't be bad.

So, it looks like 2009 will be a new challenge for me; and I'm looking forward to what it brings. All I need now is for the weather to clear up a bit so I can get out with the camera!
