hi
i will be going to the isle of white in october, not having been there before can anyone point me in a direction other than the needles to take some lovely photo's, and does anyone have any to show.
we are staying in Maria hotel, no i dont have transport (bus trip) anything at all interest's me, landscape, structure, historical, flora and fauna (new lens to play with)
so what do you suggest?? or pm if you require
I was just there in March, and had a fun time. I'm trying to remember the name of the castle ruins we visited. Obviously in the States we don't have anything remotely as old as the ruins, and it was fascinating to me.
Have to say, seeing the 11th and 12th century churches were also a bit overwhelming to me.
Where to start? Your hotel is on Sandown sea front ten minute walk to Sandown Zoo, lots of tigers, carry on past the Zoo and you can walk up on Culver downs nice views of the bay and looking over bembridge and the surrounding scenery, this link might give you a few ideas Guide
