Right, it's time I put together a website that is workable. I want my own domain name (www.jofisher.com or something like that), and I want to site to work nicely with easy use for potential purchasers.
It's not just for my photography. I am also wanting to restart my card making, although my photography is used with this, so I guess it would work well together.
I like how this site works http://www.katymelling.com/ and was wondering if I could create something like that myself. Another option I like are the slide show sites I see a lot of folks round these parts have (weddinghacks site springs to mind).
My problem is that I don't have a credit or debit card. So when it comes to buying a domain what options do I have there? Also how would I go about finding a host and paying them? I hope this all makes sense, because to be honest when I created the site in my signature, I bluffed my way through it, and had so many errors along the way I made do with the basic look in the end. But I don't like it anymore, plus I haven't a clue how to log into it anymore either
... I just want to ditch that one and start fresh.
So I could really do with a step by step guide. Starting with nothing and finishing up with a manageable site that sells my work!
Easy eh?
