I need a new LCD monitor.

Hi all,

I am looking for a new LCD Monitor for between £150- £400 for photo editing work. It needs to have HDMI input to work from my 15 inch 1080p dell laptop.

Any suggestions and advice much appreciated.

Head over to Palicomp. They have some of the cheapest monitors I've ever seen.

My old CRT died recently so I had to make the 'dreaded' switch to a LCD. After a lot of research I went for the Dell 2410. After calibrating with eye one display 2 I am very happy with it, much better than I expected. The 2410 is a little over the top end of your budget but well worth it IMO.

Or try the NEC ea231wmi for about £300 last time i looked.

23", slightly letter box shaped but very good quality.

Or an Asus 24" VH242H. It's an HD monitor with VGA, DVI and HDMI inputs, around £185.

Samsung make some great screens at this kinda price and at the 19-24 size range

samsung, 23" £160 sharp with 2ms response time. I would use this monitor for gaming!! Im using the 20" right now and it cost me £160 about 2 years ago!!!
