Hello! Ive managed to out grow my bag, the Tamrac aerospeedpack 75.
Atm im managing to fit in
50d w/grip
400d w/o grip
430ex with stofen omni bounce
17-55mm f/2.8
50mm f/1.8
17-70mm f/2.8-4(emergency lens)

Ive recently purchased a 70-200 f/2.8 and its housebound until i can find space for it! i would also really like to put the grip back on the 400d but plan to replace it with a 5dmkii shortly.

So im looking for something that can give me a bit growing space without requiring wheels, Ive seen the lowepro stealth reporter and it looks pretty good, Though unfortunately cant really tell online how big it is!

any suggestions? what bags do you use?

do you need to carry everything all the time? i have a crumpler messengerboy 5500 and that fits 3 lenses 2 flash a body and filters i need and all the normal odds and sods... but most of the time i use a much smaller 'hama zoomster' just for around and about saves me lugging everything around :) makes me think about my shots too if i cant swap lens's

Have a look at the Tamrac Expedition 8 range.

When I carry all my bodies and lenses plus tripod it is exceedingly comfortable to wear.
70-200 is in the bag on a gripped body

A Billingham 550 or Domke F-2 perhaps? Timeless!

(I have never used one myself though.)

I have the Stealth reporter D400AW and it will easily take you gear, I've had my gripped d300 + 17-55 2.8 plus gripped Fuji S5Pro + 70-200 2.8 plus flash and other bits. It's in the classifieds ;)

Take a look at the crumpler backpacks. One of the large or extra large ones. The medium ones hold quite a bit so I'm sure the larger ones would be good for your equipment. Check them out they're built so well and the quality is great. They come in a multitude of colors as well so you have many choices. You can look on the UK's eBay site or amazon, the crumpler European site, and crookedimaging.com. Crumpler is definitely the move to take! :)

Cheers, i have a crumpler one also, a half back though. So i know they are excellent quality and have nice names!

still inclined towards the lowepro bags especially since many have the all-weather feature, though im confused by their sizes. so im not sure if i would need a 300 or a 400. All the pictures online seem to show the same size bag!

Watch out for crumpler bags as they over estimate their carrying ability. They are superb bags and bullet proof but see it in the flesh before buying as they are bloody pricy. I just got myself a lowepro slingshot 302aw and it is superb, probs not enough room for all of your stuff though!

Have a look at the Lowpro 'Flipside 400 AW' Should do the trick !
