Thanks very much guys. Most appreciated. It has come about due to me bobbing around for journalism gigs.
Here is the photo itsself. It was chosen as it shows a well known local landmark, so would identify the event. I was restricted for where I could go, so had no choice but to have the posts cutting over the car. Anyway....still feels like a win.

Mine came from a bizzarre one from Facebook... the jounalist from our paper saw an image of mine that ended up having nearly 500 views and then asked if they could use it... since then they ended up asking me to do random jobs for them, seen as i work for myself i only Freelance for them but its good and gets me doing jobs i otherwise wouldn't think of doing, various things like comic relief at schools etc and taking photos of awards so its a good thing to get into.
I would just go in and ask, show them examples... whats the worst that can happen?
And since then we've had the local magazine the Lincolnshire Today have since used some of our images, 3 in this months and a few next month and its led onto them asking for us to do freelance for them so little steps can lead to other avenues.
