with this lovely warm weather we decided to head to the beach early evening for a walk, bag of chips and of course a go on a few games in the amusements which the kids love.

whilst my daughter was playing on the 2p machines to try and win a disney princess egg, i was distracted momentarily and whilst my back was turned for about 10 seconds to help my little boy retrieve his prize from the chute somebody stole my little girls pot of money - it was obvious it was hers as she was dipping her hand in it to play the game.

honestly, what sort of scumbag steals 20p from a 3 year old girl?

i did see who did, but it wasn't worth picking an argument with them - there was 4 of them to 1 of me.

but what's the lowest act of callousness you've experienced recently?
 
Sorry to hear that.... but if its any consolation your picture of your little girl is priceless so try to forget about it!

Theres always some idiots in this world who will do something to wind you up....
 
That's a wonderful picture of your little girl which you'lll have for years to come and share with her as she gets older- long after the memory of these saddos has faded. :clap:

theres unfortunately far too many idiots about with no regard for anyone but themselves. Found a used hyperdermic needle at the side of the road earlier, its a residential area where alot of kids play, just across the road from the playing fields, middle of the summer hol's as well! Phoned the council and the response was " dunno if we'll be able to do anything today" absolutely digusting! will be popping down there tomorrow to see if its still there if so i'll be ringing 101 until they send someone out to get rid of it.

On the up side thats a gorgeous picture! :D
 
I have to agree with the above! That is one of the best shots I've seen for a while!

But seriously... Stealing 20p from a child in an arcade?! What is the world coming to!

should have gotten a couple of snaps of them, make some nice posters and slap them up around the area.

looking on the brightside its only 20p - it could have been far worse ( a freind of mine was out in the park in bristol with her baby in the pram, and a toddler and while she was distracted talking to the toddler two scrotes walked past on the otherside and threw a burning bit of paper into the pram ! :eek: - fortunately a guy out walking his dog saw them and alerted her before the baby was harmed )

When I worked in milton keynes we once found a slide with a razor blade stuck about halfway up in a blob of chewing gum - stuck deliberately so it would slice the first kid to slide down :annoyed: - fortunately we found it first , but WTF :eek:

Incidentally the risk posed by needles is over hyped in the press - there no risk of HIV from an old needle as the virus only persists for a few seconds in the open air, the main hazard being a small chance of hepatitis, and of course the same issue of blood poisioning and physical injury posed by anything else sharp - its no more inherently dangerous to kids than a broken bottle so i can kind of understand why the council arent going to roll an ermegency response to deal with it. If I find a needle I just carefully pick it up by the blunt end , wrap it in a bit of paper and bin it

:thumbs: Thats what we are talking about - for every scum sucking toad in society, theres a decent bloke like you, its just a shame that its the bottom dwelling scrotes that get noticed.

Horrible thing to happen Mark, but as much as it pains me, you did the right thing. It takes a bigger man sometimes to just walk away.....

Athough what happened was nasty i think it better to keep it in context (20p). What happened to the 12 year Tia, she was robbed of her life. The photo is nice by the way.

Immeasurable. What happened to that little girl was due to someone she knew and trusted. Yes, it's sickening and deplorable, but this is someone unknown stealing money from a 3 year old. 20p or £20, doesn't matter, it's disgusting.

Stealing pennies from a 3 year old....what are things coming to? Not that it matters, but how old were these parasites? I could just about "understand" if they were young kids but, from what you've written, I'm guessing they weren't young kids. Sad, sad times.

The picture is worth far more than the 20p. Just a shame we don't chop the hands off scum like him as they do in some countries. He'd only do it twice!

My thoughts exactly, scum like this should be made an example of!

Just enjoy your lovely picture & try to forget the story that goes with it, these scum will get theirs one day, thats for sure.

Perhaps a gulag system is what is needed to deal with this scum. 6 months at hard labour for, say 20p per day? plus all the greul you can slurp in you'r appointed 20 sec daily meal time?
