I know there...cheap, but for £35??

Slow recycling, inconsistent colour temperature, inconsistent flash energy, fixed reflector - but you can't go wrong at that price, exactly the same unit is sold by several UK sellers for several times the price, the only difference being that they stick a label on it.
 
it depends on what £35 means to you?

i use a couple of 580ex's but i also have a Yang*something or other* with cost me £45 and i wanted something that i could use for kids partys, friends round for dinner, ebay stuff etc..

i'd get one andy if the £35 is neither here nor there, what's the worst that could happen? (waits for the dr.pepper retorts) :D
 
Yeh, its kind of one of them things, i want to give some portrait shots ago, i have a little boy and upto now ive done ok, as candids, but i now have a cheapish backdrop ETC, and i have my speedlite and also a yang somet other other :), but just fancied another flash, and whilst thinking of a another yang thingy i came accross the flash i listed in OP.
Ill think about it, dont think they will go out of stock any time soon! lol.

If it's not going on camera, ie: 2nd/3rd/4th flash fired by a trigger, why not go for one of the better branded guns on ebay? They have a few more bells and whistles, (zoom, power adj etc) They can be had for silly money as most togs want speedlights etc!
 
OOPs! Sorry, I read it as wanting a FLASH GUN!
