Hello all.

I have never done indoor stuff like portraits etc, but would like to give it a try. I have a Nikon D7000. If I was to buy something like the FotoQuantum LightPro Location Kit Flash FQE-200/200 which includes a trigger unit would it be compatible with my camera? Does the trigger connect the camera which in turn sets off the external flashes? Jeez I know nothing!

Anyone got any recommendations of good kits?

Thanks in advance.

Try some natural lighting by a window for starters, it gives u a real feel for lighting a portrait :D

To answer your question - yes, it will work. The radio receiver plugs into one head, any other heads have a slave cell that will 'see' the flash and fire instantaneously.

But you may want to avoid risk by buying into a known make - that isn't a negative comment about those flash heads, I know nothing about them and I've never heard of them before.

Awesome reply Garry so thank you. What are the 'known' makes? I've never done anything like this before.
