AND ITS BLOWING MY F*****G HEAD OFF. I love it!

Reminds me of when I discovered Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd in my dads record collection :D

(Led Zeppelin are now my favourite band)

DropDead :)

Ahhh....Its nice to see the younger generation discovering decent music from the past generation:)

the best of Genesis is always when they play live

I love going back to some good old oldies! :)

Got The Smiths and Erasure in the car :D great fun! THE '80's :woot:

Selling England by the Pound is my all time favourite LP/CD. I bought when I lived in Germany as a kid in the mid 70's and I'm still listening to it, as long ago as yesterday.

"me, I'm just a lawnmower, you can tell me by the way I walk" :cuckoo:

Genesis were/are/will always be, as dull as dishwater..........:p

Agreed.... I saw them 3 times in the 80's ... (Leeds City Hall was the best one  )

I've recently transferred some of my old LPs into mp3 and '3 sides live' was the first LP I did. Superb :)

It's funny, I'm just rediscovering The Who... I have always loved them, but been away from their music for years. Eminence Front is mind blowing and could have been written yesterday

Saw Genesis at Wembley Stadium in '87. We had a good position on the pitch near the stage but a girl we were with got scared and we ended up high in the stands at the other end of the stadium and all we could see were the big screens and they were out of sync because of the sound delay. :(

I was there as well :D, watched it from the stands on the left of the stage, 2/3rds down the stadium

except when they play a medley with bloody pinball wizard in it

Me too :D I got right down the front at one point but it all got too much with the pushing and shoving, I still remember Paul Young skidding across the stage on his knees then standing up as they bled into his oh so trendy ripped jeans.

Paul Young FFS, no wonder he got canned off the stage

Thankfully there is a good cure for Genisisitis. :rules:

1/ A good curry liberally spiced with a large quantity of Senna will usually solve the Anal retention problem.

2/ Sitting in a comfortable chair with a pair of Bose headphones clamped to the head whilst listening to Hendrix--Electric Ladyland on constant repeat usually manages to realign the faulty neurones.

Job done. :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

I showed my girlfriend Crapet Crawlers and she goes, is that Placebo
