Hello, me again.
OK, I have my own domain, hosted by easily.co.uk, which is www.gh-photographic.com It has Wordpress installed, and Prophoto4. I have bought one of the add on templates, which is called "Clean Slate".Example here: www.http://prophotoblogs.com/store/clean-slate/
I have been having all sorts of problems.
1: If I am working in the Wordpress editor and I click on the view site in the top left corner, it goes to http://user40308.vs.easily.co.uk/ and not gh-photographic.com. Any-one know why? Also, even if I go to gh-photgraphic, and then click on the logo on the site, it goes to user40308 instead of back to gh-photographic.
2:I am having a lot of trouble trying to get the contact form to work.Usually, all that happens is in the browser bar, it says #showhidden, but nothing happens.On the couple of occasions it has worked, if it gets filled in, it then comes up with an "internal server error", and doesnt send the info from the form to my e-mail address, even though I have followed all the instructions in the tutorials. Then, without changing anything, re-visit the site, and it doesn't work. Even the masthead images don't change, which they are supposed to, as a slideshow. Again, sometimes they do, for no reason.
3:Finally, for now at least, another strange one. If I load 2 tabs, one pointing to gh-photographic, and the other one pointing to user40308, there are differences betwenn the 2 pages. On the menus above the masthead, there is a different typeface between them, even though I have never changed them (I dont know how to yet).
How can this be? Surely it should be the same.
I am getting thoroughly cheesed off with this now. All I want is a basic site, with a "Home page, eventually a gallery or 2, and a blogsite. I know there are some wordpress gurus on here, and I have received some good advice already, but this is doing my head in.
