I heard a Nikon today....(canon user)

My mates D90 sounds far better than my 450D! Still isn't enough to persuade me to make the jump!
 
i was made up with the sound of my D7000 after moving from an A200, sad i know :| :lol:
 
After having a 300D, 1D MK II and 20D, I can definitely say the Canons do sound more mechanical and less satisfying to the ears. Nikon shutters always sound more... like they should?

I much prefer the Nikon shutter noise, but I'd rather have a Leica.

And after having both, I definitely agree that Canons are 'by engineers' and Nikons are 'by photographers' though neither is better! just different.
 
The F3 and MD-4 combination does it for me. To get the proper Nikon Chorus effect you need 3 or 4 of them going at once!
 
5d2 sounds like a toy. I like the synthetic machine gun that is 7d

mmm I wonder.. I have a D60, F4, F5, D300s and D3s. All I need now is five fingers and a video camera to make something special to watch. Should I? :thinking:

As for real life shooting with a seriously quick focusing bit of glass on the front about 8 in 11, much better hit rate than the D300s at only about 3/4 in 7. Not sure why as they both have the same 51point AF system :thinking:
