Am I the only one that looks forward to these emails from scammers looking to line their pockets off the back of some poor naive internet user.
I just got one stating that he was stranded in London after being mugged at gun point. He was quite reserved and said he only needed to lend $2500.00 till payday.
I replied that I didn't think that this would be enough for him and that I recently won £56 million on the lotto and could help him out a lot more if he liked. I await his reply with relish
Another one was frantically emailing me as I said I was in the post office handing my d200 over the counter on the promise that he would send me the funds as soon as he had a tracking number. There was I crying laughing sitting in my armchair and thinking of him trying every possible angle to get his hands on my beloved camera.
Ok I know what you will say, don't reply to them! Report them etc. But I do like to think I'm taking up part of their day with a good old wild goose chase.
And yes I do have too much time on my hands.
