After the recent threads of "programmes" being built into phones,
I guess I shouldn't be surprised though.

OK so I'll elaborate.
Earlier today, I had cause to go to a local shopping complex,
of course the phone was with me, and was connected to the internet.

A couple of hours after getting home,
I had an advert from EE that came through as a text.
And telling me all about my local Morrison store.
(Yep that was in the complex ;) )

Coincidence? I think not ;)

I'm guessing Andrea the Android was just p***ed off that I never actually went in there.
So scolded by my own phone?
Where will it end ?

Things I have learned today,
make sure I disconnect from the internet before going "anywhere sensitive" ;)
 
Maybe the GPS got confused between Morrisons and the more "adult" retail facility next door :sneaky:

That'd be a neat trick, the "Adult shop" so I'm led to believe, that is, is a good 3 miles away :p

You should be so lucky or is that wishful thinking ;)

I don't have that problem, seems EE/Tmobile have decided to stop my internet allowance
Don't really care, contract runs out in a couple of weeks and this is going to be the last cock up
they make (y)

Well unless you class Anne Summers Shop in Horsham, but as I used to work for them

Ah OK actually its not the first time, but that was a real live person and much more fun
than being stalked by my Andriod.
I may just have to water-board it, to find out exactly who its working for.

Might be to do with where I live and how often I pass Morrisons on the way into MK for shopping...

more I'd say - the only adult shop in Mk (not counting the anne summers shop in the centre) is in Fenny , its got to be more than 3m to there from Shenley

He's already admitted that he knows, and has enlightened everyone else in the thread, to the fact that that there is a "sex shop"
in Fenny.
And wrongly assumed that you meant to type Fenny, rather than CMK.

yep as Chris mentions it was in jest - FTFY is internet speak for "fixed that for you" (sometimes also EFT) which basically means " I have humorously altered your post in the quotation for s***s and giggles"

unless its Chris doing it of course - then he prefers to (mis)use his magic mod powers to edit the original post rather than doing the quotation thing

I notice you knew I was right though ;) - as a young man I was very disappointed to discover that sex shops didn't actually sell sex - I wonder if you can file a complaint under the trades descriptions act ?
