....yes I know...I'm a geek.

I have an app which tells me when the ISS will be visibly passing by here.

Tonight it was 20.13 & 21.49 for 6 & 4 minutes respectively.

Both times I was outside with the binoculars, and both times got a cracking look.

Happy bunny :-)

Actually it's not an app...just a website favourited!

Cool :)
Share the "wealth" then

A good set of 'nocs will show the solar arrays quite nicely :-)

Nice thanks I'll check it out :)

Its saying web page N/A :(

OK got there in the end :)
Its due in just over an hour, but its cloudy out there :(

If the skies clear tonight I should get another couple of good looks :-)

Always good to see the ISS.

Thought the shot on the Spaceweather site of the station transiting the Moon was great.

You're right Dave, that's great.

Extra bonus tonight.
She just went by on first pass. ..and low in the sky as she passed was a meteor which was SO bright and fast....could actually hear a fizz. :-)

If anyone uses Twitter it's worth following @VirtualAstro for times, updates, countdowns etc

Had one on my phone since last year for the kids benefit... ISS handily doubles up as santa come Christmas :)

Don't bother guys, I was out deer culling recently,
I got a scrawny looking beast with a red nose.
He looked quite ill. So did the decent thing and put him out of his misery :D

Chris!!! Shame on you!
You better find a new one quick or I'm gonna direct the world's kids to your place!

ISS Detector Pro is a good one
it gives you timings of ISS,other satellites and planets/space objects
and also the angle and path of the 'thing'
also a live map of its path

i found it to be very accurate so far but no photos yet

And with it being on your phone you can use it where ever you are
you can even set an alarm for when its coming over
