Yes
... and i can't work out how to pop it back down!

Someone please help, i know you usually have to twist these kind of things usually but this is impossible!

its one of the 50cm ones so it's taking up a fair bit of room, and advice on how to get it back into it's tiny pouch?

:bang::bonk:

how about a pic of the tent? then someone with the same can give explicit instructions?

oh it's just the standar type, one of these -

Brute force mate - took me ages to get mine back down after I opened ot the first time, had to store it flat for a few weeks because I just couldnt figure it out. Havent had it up for a few months, but if I recall, you grab diagonally opposite edges and twist and squeeze....

EDIT: To say mine is slightly different, its much squarer on the corners and quite hard to fold because you are convinced its going to break.

However, do a google search you might just find instructions somewhere

and pull and push and shout and swear then push and pull some more.
after that let your kids/wife/mom have a go and they will fold it straight away

With most of these things it's a knack. I have a lastolite Hilite and it's 6ft by 7ft but it all works in the same way. Take hold of opposite sides of the object. Bring your hands together keeping your left hand parallel to your body and twisting your right hand clockwise and in front of the left hand. Allow the item to follow it's own lead (if you know what I mean.) and it will start to fold itself. Now turn your right hand anticlockwise and it should all just happen. Once you've got the knack it's easy. (HUH LOL :P)

thankooooooo lady lens!

I have it flat it's the following stage that could be interesting!

...ok.....

to be fair the light tent doesnt look as bad as the big hilights, i think it looks about the same as a reflector, and i dont know how i do it, but it just folds easily:shrug:

^^^^^^
I've found that if I leave mine flat then my wife will eventually get fed up with telling me to put it away properly and will get it back into its bag for me!!!

Cheers,

Nigel
