especially when they start at half 12 and are so loud that the doors vibrate!

Our wonderful student household nextdoor have returned from the town vicinity and decided to continue the party.

Such joy. Police won't don anything because it hasn't spilled out onto the street and environmental health are on out of hours.

As I stand no chance of getting sleep (probably until sunrise), I thought I'd see who's on board tonight.

Help stop me going around and doing something stupid please!

Why not ask to join them? Get some photos.......steal some booze.......break the hifi.............
 
Yeah...drunk student girls...always up for something kinky...just offer them a free dinner and the use of the washing machine...pure filth...lol

that's just not nice MagicMynx.

We've been considering moving for about a year (the 'nice' student mentioned above moved in last October), but if we put in a formal complaint about it, it is recorded on our house, so when a search is done, it looks like we're the bad people! Grr.

It lulled down last night until about 10 minutes after I signed off, then blared back out again. Hubbie got peeved off and at 3 banged on the wall (no effect), so got dressed and knocked on the door until it was opened. Story goes like this:
OH: Can you turn the music off please? I'm trying to get to sleep
Student: But I'm having a party
OH: It's 3 o'clock in the morning and you've woken half the street up.
Student: But I'm having a party
OH: I don't give a F* It's 3 o'clock in the morning and you're being anti-social

Walks off. Music stops straight away, but they just talk toudly through until 3.30 when some of them leave. OH manages to fall asleep, but I can't because I have a rotten headache, and then to top it all, Blackbird lands on the tree outside our window and starts the Dawn Chorus!

Makes we wish I'd charged the camera yesterday and just gone out!

Who needs sleep?
 
8am, speakers against the wall , opera CD on full blast, lock up go out.
 
We had that selfish/noise problem too. I slept when I could, but made sure I woke very early whilst they were snuggling in . . . and took an air horn and placed it next to the air brick into their property - WAHHH!!! - every quarter of an hour.
Sneaky I know, but after a few doses timed to the dawns following their party nights, the noise mysteriously dried up :D
 
If I say woooo party will I be shunned :P

can't really relate to this one I sleep like the dead 'most' of the time whatever noise is going on around me
