I hate next door neighbour Bass!

Then put moving at the top of your list. No point in having hassle etc.

Had some noisy neighbours... let it slide until 10-11pm after that, banged on the door - took them 10minutes to realise I was there are they couldn't hear me... they usually turned it down. Once was a party until 3am - went down at 11pm after banging, turned up again at 3am they were still there at 6am.

Have heard that after 11 you can call the police as noise disturbance... I think its three call outs and the police can confiscate the equipment.

Not sure of that though, might be worth contacting the police on it?

Brillant another almost normal saturday night with bass coming through, although what's worst I'm sure i can smell weed in the kitchen, hall way form our semi detached, but is that possible it would come through the walls?

i've smelt weed before when i was at their door asking them to turn the bass down, but don't think i've smelt weed in our house! checked the front, our windows and their windows are closed, so could it come through the walls? windows have air vents, but in the cold night i can't imagine it escaping it through theirs and into ours?

A neighbour over the road has said they get the smell in their house from the people next door. Phone the police about it.

Don't put up with it ,tell the police you can smell weed ,as for the noise ...record it and report it to the police ,also get in touch with the owners ,don't put up with that crap .....

It would seep through the cracks under floorboards, attic etc. It's in very common use these days so there is every chance you are right. Has a very distinctive smell.

Sadly noise nuisance is a common issue these days. Besides the inconsiderate morons there are also the people that are simply inconsiderate. There are also those that do consider what they are doing but simply think it is their right to do what ever they like anyway. On top of that people just live their lives and don't even realise what they are doing. A family can generate a lot of noise with kids, arguments, excitement from games, the dog that barks when they are out etc. Then there is the mild mannered professional who doesn't say boo to a goose but gets home and loves his expensive hifi and surround sound for films. Even my retired parents are quite deaf and the tv is blasting out...I'd hate to live next door to them.

Expensive and not affordable by everyone but best to aim towards buying a detached place as you never know who will live next door otherwise. However it can be hard to sell your current property if there are officially recorded problems with neighbours or the fact potential buyers see or hear them when they visit.

have you reported them to the council yet? if not why not? if youre not going to do anything about it then theres no point just moaning about it to an internet forum. sounds harsh but its the only way forward.

also do you have the owners contact details, moan to them also.

3 months of noisy neighbour ,either it's not as bad as your saying(i'd have the door kicked in by now ) or your a very very patient individual to put up with it for 3 months .

You should try and get an asbo against them ,their interfering with your quality of life .
