Well at the moment I do, my nearest neighbour is a half a mile away, don't even know if they have a cat, yet somebodies bloody cat has decided to dig holes in my newly seeded lawn to drop it's dirt in!!!!!.
The grass has only just started to grow and is only about 10-15 mm height, now I have had 4 bare patches about 400mm dia. with a mound in the middle in the last 4 days:bang::bang::bang:

To say I am angry is an understatement :bat:

At least the little sod's trying to clean up after himself

I just hate cats. No reason really. I just hate them.

How can you hate this... half asleep 12 yo cat??

:lol::lol: very true. Shes called Poppy. A.K.A Flora Flat Face

Thats brill u8myufo !!!

I *******ing hate the unsociable creatures.

I have a vegetable patch in which I grow things to teach my two young girls how we grow food.

The littles sh**s keep sh****ing in our patch. Not very healthy really.

If I had a gun I'd shoot the bas***ds.

Rant not quite over yet. Still some ill-feeling in here somewhere!

I've been training mine's to poop in my next door's garden since this woman's two 12 years old kids have been up until 11 pm the other night kicking a football against their front door. I'm hoping they might pick up something from the cat's efforts and end up being ill to make too much of a racket.
Okay, so what I have said there was a bit nasty, but to put up with noisy brats late into the night and what with me having to get up at 4 am, it's hardly a wonder why I'm like that. . . but that's really another rant for another day. :D

Leek growers have 100% effective cures for cats, and do you blame them when in leek growing communities there can be considerable prizes at stake.

And i thought my cat was the only one who plays fetch.

I think too many people have issues with cats. At the end of the day, we are the ones who built houses and Gardens...so if they want to take back what was theirs then so be it :D

oh, and boynielaad, you might want to watch what you are saying, i have been known to beat on people who threaten animals or harm them in anyway

Likewise.

If we play "piggy in the middle" with ours, when she catches the ball she will always bring it to the person who should have caught it.

:suspect: I hope this isn't going to turn into anything too nasty peeps! :bat:

As for cats, you can't exactly blame the cat for doing what comes natural, THEY don't understand that its your newly seeded lawn or prized vegetable plot do they? I know its annoying but take a chill pill, there are far worse things to stress over. ;) Oh, and go to the zoo and buy some tiger or lion poo, its meant to keep anything but the bravest moggy away

That would be my other one then. She's fearless! Stupid animal!

My cat drove me crazy last night.
It's got a rash of some sort on its neck so we have to apply cream to it and wrap a bandage around its neck to stop the cat scratching until it bleeds. The damn thing decided that it was going to sit next to my pillow all night trying to scratch through the bandage. If I threw it out of the bedroom it would meow until we let it in again only to make a bee-line to my pillow. It's an indoor cat too so it's not like I can just throw it outside for the night either.

I wouldn't harm a puddytat Yvonne. I  em really.......most of the time:) I have kept cats before and many of our friends have them, just a rant/letting off steam, I have nowhere else to let off steam anyway so TP has to be my outlet:D I don't need a chill pill now as I soon cool down naturally :D

I take a pride in my garden and have always seeded lawns for a better result and I'm sure you can also see it from my point of view as well as the cats.

As for tiger and lion poo there are no zoos close to where I live.

At the end of the day I will have a nice lawn, it will just have a few patches a few weeks behind the rest. I don't do vegetables now the new lawn is now sitting on the old vegetable patch.

So don't worry peeps I am not about to exterminate anyone's pet cat, I have lost a cat before and know what it feels like :).

I suspect I wouldn't be very popular either, if I allowed my dog to poo on someone's lawn or flower bed.

But I don't.

 Yes, because thats the same.....

But you think it's ok to threaten / beat people , what a funny world :nono:

Sure is Mr G. It seem these days its OK to harm people
but not animals ( not that I am advocating harming either)

You can be charged for not cleaning up after a dog, why not the same for cats?

household pet deficating - I see no difference

There is a lot of difference, a cat owner has no control whatsoever on where it does it's poos outside, it's not like you can take them out on a lead and pick up after them .

We had a problem with a neighbours cat using our garden for its business, i bought a electronic sounder from B&Q, they do one just for cats, so if you have dogs it wont bother them. It works very well, never had a problem since, i also put one out back, to protect
the birds on the feeders, again no problems.

Keep them on a litter box their whole lives. Don't let them use my garden as a toilet because you're too lazy to clean it out (not you personally Galaxy)

Yes, it is!
A Cat or dog is a poor defenceless animal (most of the time  ).
I feel very strongly about animal cruelty and people’s stupidity, so yes, if one can do something like that to animals, then they deserve to have it done to them. Eye for an eye anyone?

And Uneducated Rick:
Its far from the same, a cat will do as it chooses, if it doesn’t want to crap in a litter tray and in your garden, then there is nothing you can do about it. Take the advice from someone else, get some of that cat repellent stuff and solve your problem.
Next, you will be telling me that something is eating your plants and that it shouldn’t exist. That’s nature buddy

I have one of those where I keep my bike... It doesnt work. My cat just craps there like no tomorrow :bang:

You mean keep them indoors all their life

Speaking of litter trays, we took a cat on holiday with us in a hired motorhome and we were woken up a few times in the early hours of the morning by what I can only describe as the "smell from Hell" :D

What an experience that holiday in Scotland was, we parked up once in town and came back to find an audience around the vehicle wondering what a cat was doing sitting on the roof , he had somehow managed get up to and squeeze through the roof vent:lol:

I would not recommend taking a cat on a motorhome holiday

It is not nature to semi-domesticate an animal.

We previously have tried concentrated pelets (garlic and a few other strong odours) which kept all the cats but one away - the one in question was on kitty HRT and loved it more than ever :bang:

No, we have several houses on my street that have cats and two of them never use anyone else's garden as a litter tray as they return to their own homes (it may be due to 1 of them getting mauled by a dog so never moves more than 25m from its house) but the other house's cat has never done it. A third house's cat only uses its own garden (under a particular tree)

Buy a GUN.. sorted.. :naughty:

Buy a GUN.. sorted.. :naughty:

I have a rifle , lethal on those cute little bunnies that would have made an even bigger mess of the lawn had I not circled it with corrugated galvanised sheeting so they can not see the inviting loose soil to dig in.

Would not use it on the puddytat :shake:

Tally so far this year 6 :D.

I'm not a fan of them either.

I found ultrasonic cat scarers are the most humane cure for a problem cat/s

Just keep moving it around our property so they don't learn the zones and presto.

Has worked at ours and we're overrun with the ferkin things.

Who really gives a ****? I got two cats, 12 Chickens, a badger that visits the garden, there is a fox in the neighbourhood, and on top of that I got Blue Tits, robins,Owls and every other wild creature ******** all over the place

I grow plenty of veg and all the beds have a net around the outside about 3ft high, what you wanna worry about is the human waste which farmers scatter on their crops :D
