My Konica TC-X take up spool died and my olympus OM10 has developed a slow shutter fault as well as a fungal infection in the 55 1.8 lens :'(

Not sure either is salvageable. The tTC-X is binned but holding onto the OM10 in hope of a fix. Seems to be a common issue.

Its funny how you get attached to cameras and the thought of binning or giving them away always makes you feel guilty a little.
 
Shame you binned the konica.....
The nearest I woud ever come to litterally binning any piece of kit would be passing it on to someone who could genuinley make use of it either as spare parts or simply as a nice ornament.

Hope you get the OM10 repaired but if not, perhaps offer it as a freebie on here before letting that go to the skip!
 
True. I've grabbed it out. If anyone wants it to attempt a fix or spares then give me a shout.

Id like a bash at fixing the oly if that's ok mate.
 
Mads, I'm keeping the om10 for now but you can try the tcx if you like?
 
Thanks mate, but I've absolutely no clue how to fix that, so ill pass on the tcx. Found an instruct able for fixing the oly, otherwise I'd not even attempt it ;)
