Yes
...but I can't open it cos I have to collect it from the post office, because the postage wasn't enough to cover it. So I have to pay the princely sum of... £1.03p!

And that includes a £1 handling charge! Bloody pathetic! Flipping Post Office!

Don't do it. Last time I did that it was an advert!

Oh and they take the money before letting you see it of course

it wasnt me!

holy cow - a whole 3p less :o

I wouldn't do it. Unless it's something I was waiting for of course.

It will eventually get returned to sender (I think), so they'll know it hasn't got to you (should it be anything important)

Nah, I'm not gonna bother. It's gonna cost the PO more to return the damn thing than it would to deliver it in the first place, so f**k 'em!

Thats the spirit!

They don't like it up'em !!!!!!

That happened to me once , after two weeks I gave in and picked it up.

It was the survey report on the house we were trying to buy :bang:

They let you see it before you pay, just incase it is something important

agreed. I've refused to pay when it's been junk mail or some sort of mailing that I didn't want. Just last week I went to pay and collect and, as sson as I identified what it was, ended up telling the guy behind the counter to use his rubbish bin instead of mine.

Well sod them then, Fi - they can file it in the round grey cabinet in the corner then!

while were slagging off royal mail, why do we have postmen etc complaining about the weight of letters etc they have to carry and a new pricing system bieng brought in. yet royal mail deliver unsolicited junkmail that they know about "handdelivered by royal mail" = junk, cut that out and thats what 50-100 letters that no one actually wants removed from the postmans bag!

Same thing happened to my dad a month ago.
When he collected it, it was a P45 from his old job :annoyed:

Sometimes they just deliver it you if you don't pick it up within a month, but no guarantees obviously

whitewash, it's all money money money now unfortunately. They're being paid to deliver them, so they delivery them.

:(
