I got called a weirdo for carrying a camera...

I reckon I might start carrying 2 cameras at all times, maybe hang a guitar on my back, wear a pair of big dirty waders and a fishing hat, and maybe top it off with a mankini. If asked I'll say I work at BT.

LOL! Bravo, indeed!

I was on the beach with my wife an 9 months old son. There was other kids everywhere and I was actually scared to take the camera out. In the end I did and got some nice shots of my son, but the nerves forced my to rush and quickly put the camera away.

That is so not right... :suspect: ... how else are you going to have memories to cherish other than nano-electrical impulses... as long as your gray cells remain working...

You should just take the pictures you want without worrying about it. If anyone objects, call them a weirdo.

i have had experience of this when I was on a shoot in Stoke on Trent, i just ignored them.

I do like a t-shirt that i have seen here in Norwich. it shows a photographer and the slogan says 'i love to shoot idiots'.

Well, if he was calling me a wierdo I might as well justify it :naughty::lol:
