Yes
lump last night on my dogs ribs it is small and solid i am really worried i have booked him in at the vets today i dont know what i will do if it is cancer or something else bad he is only 17 months old he is my baby :(

Hope he's ok, fingers crossed. My Jcck russell often gets little lumps but they seem to come and go, and she's 14 now. Let us know how he is.

I had a yorkshire terrier years ago who started getting lots of quite large lumps, much as you describe.

We took him to the vets and it emerged he was suffering from a type of skin allergy, the vet eventually put him on a prolonged course of steroids to counter act this and he went about his life as normal up to a very good age.

Hopefully you'll find your dog's lumps are similar

Fingers crossed it's nothing.
And you'll be surprised where they can remove lumps from, these days - anyway, so benign thoughts from me!
Fingers crossed and plenty of hugs for the wait.

Fingers crossed. As a dog owner I know how worried you get.

We had the same, with a cat... Vet was saying that chances are its nothing serious! Heres hoping..........

Apparently with bumps it's only a very small chance that it is cancer on a dog.

I had a Doberman who got some lumps on the side of his body. He had them for years .... Turns out they were just fatty lumps and lots of dogs get them.

small lumps are often Tics Or small cysts. neither are a problem.

thanku guys n girls he has been fully checked by our vets and they say it is nothing to worry about it is very small and it is attatched to nothing so i have to keep an eye on him if it changes in any way to get him back i am so please he is ok i was crying all day he is my baby

Unfortunately dogs can come with plenty worries.
Been down that road more times that I care to remember.

Probably just a fat ball, like babytiger my Jack Russel gets them, worried me too at first.

my border terrier has one at his rib cage as well, I was the exact same as you but cause you can move it about and its not attached to anything vet said it was just a fatty lump!

glad your dogs ok though!

I read the same too Chris. I was going to post it until I read the content of the thread and felt it inappropriate at the time...and once the good news was delivered, I'd forgotten :$
