A few weeks ago on here I posted about whether to go for an iPhone or blackberry. I thought the blackberry because of its ability to be great with emails yet I've barely touched a blackberry. Obviously I thought of tue iPhone having played with a dozen friends. But the bold 9700 was giggling at me.

Anyway, someone on here directed me to the HTC Desire and having looked into it I thouht this I really need to get my hands on this. Then I did and never looked back! I'm super impressed.

Something for photographers: its great for showing photos to potential clients on the OPERATION screen... well, as long as it is not in bright sunlight haha! Oh and this was typed on it too. Much better than my xperia, that's for sure!

Yep, properly rocks. Multitasking for the win :D

And flickr integration with the photo app is nice too.

good effor and good choice !!! shame I didnt wait and got a hero instead !!!

The HTC desire is the phone I have my eye on, unfortunately my contract isn't up until October :(

I'm very tempted to get one to replace my HD, but then the HD2 and X10 look much nicer.. The Desire software and Sense seems much better than the mediascape software on the X10...

I've had one since the week it came out. A couple of things I've found are that if you connect to the internet via WiFi at home and then leave the signal range, the internet goes off and you have to manually disable WiFi. Usually I just turn off and on. Friend stream also crashes unexpectedly. When using the internet its much easier to click on the wrong icon than with the iphone. Also the feature that learns new words as you type is great until it learns some profanity and you text your mum asking about the clock she got for Christmas....other than that its a great phone. All phones have niggles, I just thought I'd make you aware.

Ha yeah they all have their niggles. My friend stream has never crashed and I'm addicted to it thanks to the phone. can you re install it? Also i think the browsing experience is better. than the iphone but each to their own. At least these advancements and new technologies make companies strive to make better phones.

Oh and my dictionary is shocking! Good job my mum is mint!

I find it funny people still use predictive text with a qwerty keyboard. :p

I love mines, it really is a great phone and i would recommend buying the vignette program, gives the pictures some fantastic looks, similar to the hipstamatic application for the iphone!

Yeah i found it a bit weird at first but it is so accurate to your way of typing. Sometimes it is quite scary how it knows to pick certain words for you, even if you make a right hash out of them.

got mine about a week ago and absolutely love it, it was between this and the iphone, after playing with my ex's iphone i decided that the htc was much easier to use
