I Fancy A Challenge, Anyone Else?

That's a shame Danny, would you like to go back in later on in the list?

Jim, send it on to the next one down.

Mel, please excuse my ageing daftness but I honestly can't remember if I put the film in the camera or just in the box with the camera.
If there is a film in the box can you load it up and you set the ASA on the outer ring on the lens.

Cheers

Andy

I'm not sure I should commit right now, have a house move (again) on the horizon, a redundancy next week, then 5 days of assessments before starting a new contractor job (fingers crossed). I like being busy but this is unreal! lol

OK mate, let us know if you want to get involved later. And good luck with the madness.

Andy

All done and ready to post on... Am i posting to simonphoto? if so, ill shoot over a PM.

It looks like it Mel, PM him and keep it moving

Nice one Mel, Simonphoto is next.

Andy

Well done Jim, off to a brilliant start

It's not that I'm competitive but I suggest the team that is the last to complete their challenge and get their photo's posted on TP has to buy the winning team a beer each the next time we all get together for an F&C group hug

Pfft at my age one of you needs to buy me a meal so i get my drinky :P

hehe

OK here's the final list,

Yashica ME
Mind of Mel (Mel)
Simon Photo (Simon)
RobHooley (Rob)
Simon Ess (Simon)
ChrisR (Chris)
Onform (Matt)
FruitFlakes (Lloyd)
Andysnap (Andy)

Ricoh 500 or Konica CS
Menthel (Jim)
Mahoneyd187 (Danny)
Strappy (Dean)
JCoquillon (Justin)
SimonUK (Simon)
HappyGoLucky (Andrew)
Tigger.UFO (Heather)
Raglan Surf (Nick)

Nick and I will send off the cameras to the first person on the list and PM them a theme. Each person should take 1 shot from within 3 feet of their front door and then 3 shots around the theme provided then send on the camera to the next person on their list e.g I send the Yashica to Mind of Mel he takes his shots and sends it on to Simon Photo etc.
Nick and I recieve the cameras last, finish off the roll and get them devved and put up in a thread on here. Simples.

You will only have 7 days from receipt of the camera to take your shots and forward it on, any transgression will be punished :bat: :D

I shall have a camera ready to go by friday so Mel should have it on monday.

You ok to go on friday Nick?

Andy

Can we maybe edit the First post to contain this info - keep it up-to-date to show where the camera currently is. Should help keep everyone aware of when they should expect the camera.

I'm worried some of my 'street' shots will be at the 1/40 chosen setting by the trip35 - so expecting blurriness with some of my 3 assigned shots but hey worst comes to worst you have a solid picture of my road lol.

My Trip is not hard to hold still (it's a small, well-designed camera, and mine has a light shutter you can just squeeze), and it is a 40mm lens, so 1/40 will likely be OK anyway. I got surprisingly good results (in some shots) down to 1/8 and even possibly 1/4 with the 50mm Pentax at a waterfall recently!

... remembering that 1/30th is eminently doable when there isn't a bloody great mirror bouncing up and down I don't think you have much to worry about.

Top idea Justin, it'll save scrolling through all the posts to see who's next

Now I feel guilty, I should have supplied you with a box and am now hanging my head in shame.

On the + side though I'm glad it will soon be on its way.

No problem Nick. The main problem was actually horrifically busy work!

Done, now in the first post. Sorry it took so long but I've been in the wilds of Scotland for a week and a half with no internet access. Have shot loads of film though.
