Moon pics. I mean photos of the moon and just the moon.
I do get it a bit, I suppose. It's an interesting and fun personal exercise to shoot the moon.
But, by and large, once you've seen one you've seen them all. So what I don't get is why people love to show them off.
There seems to be a new moon pic up here every other week and, quite honestly, I'm wondering what people are supposed to say.
"Yeah, it's definitely the moon."?
I suppose there's some limited chat to be had about focus and exposure. But, again, it's not new information. It's pretty much one of the easiest subjects to understand because it changes so little from a photography point of view.
