I make you right about your assertion. There are some seriously stupid people around and, seemingly, growing in number.

The standard of TV programme writers' use of the English language, grammar and enunciation really winds me up to the point I rarely watch live TV.

When out and having a bite to eat, I rarely get through my lunch without feeling as though I need to slaughter the mumsies sitting nearby. That they have actually bred is an awful shock as it seems our society is dying intellectually......... Social media has some part in this slippage but the thickos are climbing out of the primeordial soup......

Since my house is like the halfway point between the beach and the rest of the town, it does make for interesting people watching when viewed from my hobby room window. Especially more so in the summer evenings where heat and alcohol doesn't really go very well together.

For me, it's the incorrect pronunciation of words on the radio which annoys. Especially Radio Four where I expect better.

Words like controversy and contributing are spoken the American (and obviously incorrect) way and worst of all, the word pronunciation is often pronounced as pronounciation!

I blame that Jordan woman and the Spice Girls. Stupid people have always made up a large proportion of society, but those aforementioned are responsible for showing many that you don't have to be bright to be successful and have encouraged many to come out of hiding. However, those 'celebrities' have no influence over me and I am still keeping a low profile.

Number of really, really stupid questions I used to get asked as a Policeman, and the number of stupid things I watched them do would stagger you.
Yes, it was funny mostly. I do recommend people watching, it's a great way to pass the time, but it does convince you that people really are daft.
